Global Christian Forum
We are an extension of Global Outreach’s efforts that provides a tangible presence and avenue to engage Trinity Church in the Great Commission. We seek to provide support for and interact with Trinity’s Global Outreach team by:
1. Creating a forum for missionaries to share their lives and ministries with the Trinity congregation.
2. Being an integral participant in Trinity’s Global Outreach prayer efforts.
3. Being a guiding community to individuals who are part of the D2 process.*
4. Being a platform for teaching on missions.
5. Being a disseminating point for sharing what God is doing in missions around the world.
*The D2 (Discern and Develop) process is a method to help individuals discern where God may be calling them. This process allows Trinity leaders to engage with candidates and speak into their lives effectively by walking with those who are exploring missions as a vocation and/or those who wish to be in partnership with Trinity Church.

Helping Without Hurting Missions Experience Training Class
Interested in going on a missions trip? Global Outreach requires a 3-week short-term missions training class for any individual considering a missions experience. If interested, start here!
Helping Without Hurting in Short-Term Missions aims to train and debrief team members, preparing them to do short-term missions as effectively as possible. To do this, it provides practical examples and guidelines for team members, and it creates interaction and reflection opportunities through questions and journaling.
With eight units, six of which are built around free online video content, this book equips teams to avoid harming materially poor communities and to translate their experience into lasting and mutual engagement with missions and poverty alleviation.
Perspectives is a fifteen week course designed around four vantage points or “perspectives” — Biblical, Historical, Cultural and Strategic. Each one highlights different aspects of God’s global purpose.
The Biblical and Historical sections reveal why our confidence is based on the historic fact of God’s relentless work from the dawn of history until this day.
The Cultural and Strategic sections underscore that we are in the midst of a costly, but very “do-able” task, confirming the Biblical and Historical hope.

MomentumYes invites everyday people to rethink God’s mission, the call of the church, and their individual roles. It is a free online video-based curriculum for churches, small groups, and individuals.
Throughout all of Scripture, God is relentless about seeing his entire creation redeemed. Our world is so much more global than it used to be, and MomentumYes helps us maximize our opportunity to make Jesus famous here, near, and far away.
MomentumYes is…
- an easy-to-use tool, which teaches, inspires, and equips everyday people to rethink God’s mission.
- designed to actively engage believers in taking the next steps in God’s mission.
- a video series for small groups, which will enable this generation to carry out the mission.
