Gave out a small gift along with 2 books to the elderly and handicapped in the village. Later this month we will be giving out school supplies as well as the books to the village elementary students as well. One book contains Bible stories in Phu Thai, Thai and English. The other book is the first of a series of four in the Bible comic book series. This comic book focuses on the creation of the world as well as the fall of mankind in the style of a comic book. We are very excited about this comic book series and look forward to seeing the foundations of God’s story being planted in the hearts of those who will read and prayerfully understand who God is and His love for them.
Many elderly and handicapped showed up in spite of covid restrictions and those who couldn’t sent a family member to pick up their gift. It was a great time of reconnecting with those who we haven’t gotten to see since returning. Our headman thanked everyone for coming and thanked us for giving them these gifts. After that, he invited Mike up to speak to the group and Mike was able to say that these gifts were from the generosity of Christians in America who are praying for them to know about God. Please continue to pray with us as they read the books in their heart language that they would be interested in hearing more about our Creator God.
